About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grants and Impact Manager (gn) to lead our grant acquisition and management efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are well-funded and effectively implemented, maximizing our impact in the field of conservation.
Your Tasks
Grant Acquisition: Identify, research, and apply for grant opportunities from various funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and international organizations
Project Management: Oversee the development and implementation of grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards
Impact Assessment: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of funded projects and report on outcomes to stakeholders
Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide guidance on grant-related matters and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Capacity Building: Provide training and support to staff on grant writing, management, and reporting best practices
Your Profile
Degree in environmental science, conservation, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, preferably in the conservation or non-profit sector
Proven track record in developing successful grant proposals and managing donor relationships
Strong analytical skills and experience in impact monitoring, evaluation methodologies and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
