HEAD OF CORPORATE AFFAIRSHR WORLD Ltd on behalf of our reputable client, we're looking for head of corporate affairs to drive and lead the Corporate Affairs & Legal and agenda: government and stakeholder relations, regulatory affairs including protecting license to trade, corporate reputation and communications, media relations, communities support projects, legal projects, and compliance and governance priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Managing and leading the Tanzania three key function Corporate affairs functions (sustainability, regulatory affairs and communications) and Legal Function
Drive the agenda in protecting the business’ interest at a local level and ascertain adherence to business ethics as well as to existing policies
Function supports in follow up of regional directorial level support on commercial operational support and develop initiatives/events for multi stakeholder forums
Strong focus on data acquisition for key projects around value chains and economic impact Co-ordinate governance across the trust ensuring best practice
Track and maintain a detailed awareness of the key regulatory issues facing the business and develop strategic responses as required
Strategy for Government and stakeholder relations, corporate reputation management and corporate brand communications
Working together with the Legal Manager, coordinate any material court proceedings and litigation issues
QUALIFICATIONS;
Master’s in International Relations/Economics/ Public Administration or Finance or Strategy/ School of Law LLB
Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
Ideally International understanding/experience, given the nature of the global business
