HEAD OF ICTINDUSTRY: BANKINGHR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Head of ICT to drive operational efficiency and leverage technology that will enable the Bank achieve its mission and vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Develop and set strategic direction on technology for the bank.
Providing cost-effective control and governance of Information Technology (IT) to ensure that IT systems are well managed to support the business.
Ensure compliance to regulations and internal policies in bank’s technological infrastructure and operations.
Management of operations and capital expenditure budgets related to technology.
Identify, assess, control, monitor, measure and report all risks to facilitate prudent management decisions.
Ensure efficient planning and execution of technology-related projects across the bank.
To enforce the bank’s ICT policies for good IT governance by ensuring that installations, systems configurations and user practices adhere to the industry standard and best practices.
Provide leadership to the IT team in the subsidiary to achieve banks objective.
Plan for appropriate training to keep updated with the latest technologies and banking trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer technology, ICT, Engineering or equivalent field.
Minimum 5+ years relevant banking experience in progressive positions in IT space out of which 3 of them are in management level.
Professional qualification and certification in banking and ICT field is an added advantage.
