HEAD OF POLICY
INDUSTRY: FOOD AND NUTRITION NGO
HR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Head of Policy to provide functional oversight, thematic leadership, and technical support to project staff as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Tracking and mapping national progress on the Food Systems Summit, and the N4G Summit commitments.
Facilitate expertise derived from its national programs and its global expertise into national consultation and planning.
Be the principal country link to the cross sectoral - company working group on the post -Summit consultations, engagements and actions.
Lead on internal communication to educate and inform fellow colleagues on the national food system transformation commitments and align staff members to contribute.
Integrate and align the Food Systems Summit policy and advocacy work into the company's national business plan.
Monitor, attend, and engage to represent the company, where appropriate, in key national-level and country-level policy fora and meetings related to food system transformation.
Lead on external engagement with key stakeholders in government, private sector, UN, donors, and civil society including academia, media
Provide technical and managerial guidance to program and field teams that guarantees adherence to national and local government guidance and protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor's Degree in, Public Health, Public Policy or related field or equivalent work experience.
Must have at least 10 years or more years of experience in the related field.
Willingness and ability to travel, within and outside of Tanzania.
