HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a qualified and results-driven Head of Sales to lead the commercial strategy and execution for the HCE brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing a high-performing sales team across key customer segments.
Responsibilities:

Define and execute the sales strategy for Hyundai Construction Equipment in Tanzania, aligned with growth targets and brand standards.
Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring clear targets, strong pipeline management, and consistent performance.
Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, expanding key accounts, and strengthening relationships with strategic customers.
Lead high-stakes negotiations and manage complex deals with corporate clients, contractors, and fleet/industrial buyers.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecasting accurately and reporting performance through KPIs.
Provide technical and commercial support to the team, ensuring strong product knowledge and value-based selling.
Coordinate with After Sales, Parts, and Operations to ensure a strong customer experience and long-term account retention.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and customer needs to refine go-to-market tactics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or related field
Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in sales within construction equipment, industrial machinery, or heavy trucks.
Strong technical understanding of machinery and the ability to translate features into customer value.
Proven track record managing and scaling commercial teams and delivering targets.
Advanced negotiation skills and strong relationship management with strategic/key accounts.
Highly results-driven, structured, and confident in a fast-moving commercial environment.
