Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications:
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA Certification, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an HSSE role, preferably in the oil and gas or LPG sector.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of LPG operations and associated risks.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with local HSE regulations and industry standards (e.g., EWURA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EWURA, etc.).
Emergency response planning and fire safety skills.
Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting tools.
Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with environmental impact assessment and sustainability measures.
