HR World Ltd on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a HR and Admin Officer who will work closely with the HODs & senior management team to formulate the company’s human resources strategy in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the HODs & senior management team to formulate the company’s human resources strategy in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual or statutory procedures on personnel management.
Define recruitment policy, job profiles and manage the interviewing and induction process.
Handling the disciplinary process in line with the Employment & Labor Relations Act of Tanzania.
Ensure proper communications between the management and staff through representatives or Trade Union.
Liaison with the Trade Union.
Organize, store and manage important documentation in both hard copy and electronic format through a clear and concise reference system.
Manage employee attendance, absences and leave records.
To enforce when necessary the importance to employees of complying with the HR policies, processes and procedures.
Liaise and collaborate with finance department in payroll related matters.
Take minutes of Meetings during the Union meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Human Resources or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years similar experience within a HR & Admin function. Knowledge of Tanzania Employment & Labor Relations Act is a pre-requisite
Knowledge of and ability to apply the policies, procedures and processes of the HR department in a professional manner.
