About Us
We are Sumwood Furniture, manufacturers of high-quality indoor and outdoor furniture. Our workshop is located in Ngaramtoni, Arusha, and we are looking for a qualified and dedicated Human Resource Officer to manage and oversee the HR needs of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage employee relations within the workshop.
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
Monitor staff attendance, performance, and welfare.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
Implement employee development programs and performance appraisals.
Manage payroll, leave schedules, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Must be 30 years or older
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in a workshop or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
