About the Role
TECIC Tanzania Limited is looking for a grounded, experienced HR professional to take the lead on everything people-related within our organisation. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, champions the wellbeing of staff at every level, and brings a steady, dependable presence that people can count on.
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee the full recruitment cycle - from job posting to onboarding
Manage employee relations and act as the go-to point for staff concerns
Develop and enforce HR policies in line with Tanzanian labour law
Coordinate training, performance appraisals, and staff development plans
Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and personnel files
Manage payroll coordination and employee benefits administration
Support management with disciplinary and grievance procedures
Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment
What We're Looking For
Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of proven HR management experience
Solid knowledge of Tanzania's Employment and Labour Relations Act
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive matters with care
Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools
Ability to work independently and take initiative without being micro-managed
Fluency in English and Swahili is an added advantage
