Job Purpose
To carry out instrumentation maintenance activities as required by the maintenance supervisor to perform breakdown repairs whenever required and be pro-active in identifying opportunities to improve plant, machinery reliability and performance as well as to carry out fault finding and diagnosis of problems affecting plant and systems, taking corrective actions to anticipate and prevent downtime and thus maximize product availability.
Job Qualifications / Experience
Practical "hands-on instrumentation background
Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
Ability to work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team.
Sound experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Distributed Control System (DCS), control software and hardware's
Proficiencies in SCADA and PCS knowledge
At least 4 years' experience from mining processing or manufacturing industry
Experience in troubleshooting and calibration of Pressure, temperature, level, and flow measuring equipment,
Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance to control valves, and other field's instruments
