DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Assists in planning, coordinating, directing and administering the internal audit programs of the Rural Energy Agency;ii. Assists in performing financial management auditing to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines whether the Fund’s resources are utilized in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Rural Energy Fund;iii. Assists in advising Management on improvements needed in the area of organizational structures, policy guidelines, administrative procedures, performance measures and systems of operation in light of management problems discovered through audit investigations;iv. Assists in liaising with external auditors and facilitate the smooth conduct of audits;v. Assists preparation of annual budget and work programs of the Audit Section and submit periodic performance report; andvi. Performs any other duties as may be assigned by superiors.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
i. Bachelor Degree either in Financial Management, Economics, Planning or Accounting and a holder of CPA (T) or its equivalent;ii. Masters degree will be an added advantage; iii. Must be computer literate; andiv. A Minimum of Five (5) years of successful and proven experience in a relevant position
REMUNERATION: Salary Scale REA SCALE
