The main task of IP Optimization Expert for Nokia is to help realize customer in meeting the objectives on the following but not limited to
Understanding of Complete network design and planning
Enhance Network and Service Performance
Support Operations team in troubleshooting complex IP related problems in the network
Properly documenting network topology to simply troubleshooting of problems
Job Description
Support the delivery phase for projects, by verifying IP planning documents and Network detailed design documents
Provide IP network support of new and existing services and features.
Support IP Planning projects
IP Planning for access networks
Interact with Packet Core team on IP related issues
Support regional teams with technical expertise, 2nd Tier support, solving critical cases.
Interacts with Juniper/ECI and Cisco technical supports
Interacting with operations team/Customer team on IP related issues in the network
Strong knowledge of the NSN 2G and 3G solution (BSC/Abis, RNC/Iub/Iu dimensioning, Access features & parameter, Access performance monitoring)
Troubleshooting of LTE access problems
Expertise in network dimensioning
Performs SW and HW Upgrade/Expansion if needed.
Document engineering solutions in accordance with in-house standards including but not limiting to the following documents
