Description: - I.T Engineer INTERNSHIP
Services Profile: Maintain the I.T environment of customers comprised of heterogeneous systems. The systems include Hardware, software and Network installation, configuration and maintenance. The Engineer will work in conjunction with service desk and respond within SLA’S. Engage with Maintenance clients, ensuring service delivery objectives are met, providing feedback to line manager. Work on managed services proposal, work with new customers requiring managed services. Weekly and monthly reporting is a key deliverable.
Skills/Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be excited and passionate about technology.
Able to consult with the Sales Team during client assessment, needs analysis and client meetings.
Understanding of access control, databases, networking, operating systems, application types, network security, server installations, setup and maintenance, Windows domains, applications management and troubleshooting and I.T. service delivery.
Quick learner, inquisitive, investigative, excellent logical & analytical skills
Must have a GPA of 3.5 or above
Knowledge on back-up solutions, cloud solutions and security solutions is an added advantage.
