LIFTING ENGINEERINDUSTRY- OIL AND GASHR WORLD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Lifting Engineer who will be responsible for managing day to day lifting operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES;

Be responsible for managing day-to-day lifting operations.
Plan, organize, supervise, and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.
Conduct routine checks and inspections of works on site to ensure compliance with authorities' and client's requirements
Test materials and components used in buildings, structures, and machinery.
Review project safety (eg. lifting plans, etc.)
Ensuring all relevant lifting equipment performance, certification, and condition data are recorded accurately for input into the Company’s data recording system.
Defining standards for and participating in the monitoring and assessment of lifting operations
Contributing in conjunction with HSE Dept. to the Site’s safety effectiveness by recommending improvements in procedures and work practices. Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team
Adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards
Providing technical advice on matters about lifting operations deviations or non-compliance
Providing support to Maintenance Teams as necessary in the detail and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on all lifting equipment
Any other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

*QUALIFICATIONS;*

Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in the construction/Oil and gas industry
Level 3 Diploma in Maintenance Engineering Technology or Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering. Or Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Lift Engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to use a wide range of tools and instruments.
A good understanding of health and safety issues.
Good IT skills.
Good communication skills
