METROCREDIT LIMITED (MetroCredit) is a young company incorporated in Tanzania in 2018 under the Companies Act, of 2002 intending to provide financial services to Micro and Medium entrepreneurs. The company is inviting suitable, competent, and self-motivated young Tanzanians to fill in the Vacant available at its office in Mwanza as detailed here below;
JOB TITLE: LOAN OFFICERS – 5 POSTS
Job description
To identify potential markets and make sales to obtain potential customers/borrowers
To conduct a thorough loan appraisal to all customers who have shown interest to borrow from MetroCredit
Prepare and present loan packages/files to the immediate supervisor or line manager
Monitor all loan repayments from all customers that have been disbursed loans by MetroCredit
Make follow up for the late repayments
To perform any other duty that may be assigned by his/her supervisor from time to time
Qualifications
A minimum of at least Diploma in fields of business, finance, economics, social sciences and any other related fields
Should not be less than 25 and not more 36 years of age
At least 2 years work experience in a recognized Microfinance Institution or commercial Bank with exposure on loan Processing
A sound knowledge of Microfinance, principles and practice of banking i.e Credit analytical skills, sales and marketing skills and strong public speaking skills
