LOGISTICS OFFICERINDUSTRY: MANUFACTURINGOn behalf of our reputable client, HR World Ltd is looking for a Logistics Officer to supervise all aspects of logistics within a supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Manage vendor relationships making deliveries and reporting on-time performance.
Perform administrative duties, ensuring paper and electronic records are stored, organized, and maintained by company procedures
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Plan and track final products according to the site requirements
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
Act in an assigned emergency response capacity as required to meet emergency assistance needs.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management or a related degree.
At least 4 years of working experience.
Experience in Manufacturing Industry is a bonus.
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software.
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
