Manager, Merchants and Acquiring Services
Location: Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Direct Reporting: Head Cash Management
Job Purpose
To develop and execute sales pipeline for merchants and acquiring products and services across online and offline channels. To offer direct customer support services to drive volumes and usage of our merchants and acquiring products and services.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Sales pipeline management
Pursue sales leads including new to bank and cross selling to existing customers by leading marketing activities, identification, sourcing to activation of customers.
Responsibility 2: Manage implementations
Manage stakeholders (internal and external) and related operational/business risks on getting the solution to the customer designated users and kick off usage.
Responsibility 3: Offer customer support services
Resolve ongoing queries. Train, guide and retrain the customers, partners, and colleagues to drive usage and grow volumes on all the merchants and acquiring products & services.
Responsibility 4: Vendor management
Lead procurement of merchants and acquiring products and related services, maintenance, and vendor support to drive fit-for-use offerings to customers.
Additional Responsibilities (Product Development, Planning & Reporting)
Prepare proposals and business requirements documents to serve potential customers.
Plan and report regular performances on specific customers, products, and segments for different bank’s stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities (Drive Costs and Revenue Numbers)
Prepare cost benefit analysis and product performance reports.
Take initiatives to reduce costs meanwhile increasing revenue base for TSG.
Experience & Qualifications
Sales and pipeline management experience (at least 2 years)
Customer support experience (at least 2 years)
Merchant and acquiring experience (2 years)
Business project management experience (1 year)
