About this job
A sales and marketing manager will be responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans. She or he will also manage both the marketing and the sales staff and will perform managerial duties to meet the company's operations goals.
REPORTING TO:
Executive Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stimulate sales activities to attain or exceed revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Update and maintain a continuously marketing database to precisely reflect sales activities and prospect status.
Conduct account maintenance, inquiry calls, outside sales calls, site visits, and varied sales activities.
Execute accurately all organization initiatives, policies plus procedures to improve quality, operations, and service.
Preparing marketing and sales annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures.
Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
Training, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing objectives.
Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or business administration
At least 5+ years of experience in Advertising or Creative Agencies, Sales Roles and managing a marketing team in general.
3+ years’ experience as a marketing and Sales Manager, preferably within an agency
Proven track record in securing new business
Experience in working with a range of marketing channels and techniques.
Strong aptitude for working with analytics and data to drive business planning and marketing strategy
Strong experience with CRM tools for revenue forecasting, sales activity metrics, and customer insights
Subject matter expert in scaling advertising business, and understanding of modern marketer’s needs
Experience running a large sales organization
A track record of working collaboratively with others in big campaigns and projects
Comfortable leading senior-level client relationships & business partnerships, as well as industry speaking events
SKILLS NEEDED:
Ability to interpret briefs and objectives from multiple sources.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas
Strong understanding of Adobe CC software.
Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing practices and channels such PPC, SEO, re-targeting and chat bots
Strong analytic skills with the ability to understand data
Excellent Proposal and presentation skills
Commercially minded and motivated to exceed targets
Self-motivated, naturally curious, and a strong sense of personal accountability
