We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Maternity Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns, ensuring their health and well-being during the postpartum period.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
Monitor the health of both mother and baby, identifying any potential complications.
Educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
Assist with breastfeeding and provide support for any feeding issues.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternity or postpartum care.
Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
