Job Description Responsibilities-Conduct routine eye examinations, including visual field tests-Checking of refractive power, intraocular pressure, subjective refraction and retinoscopy-Determine each patient’s visual acuity, field of vision, focus and hand-eye coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma, diabetic or macular degeneration and dry eyes.-Evaluate eye-related symptoms, such as discharge, redness and inflammation-Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids-Educate patients on proper eye care-Identify eye health safety factors that could impact vision, such as working in front of a computer-Perform other duties as assigned.Key Skills and Competencies:-Good English and Swahili speaking-Effective oral and written communication skills-Effective planning skills-Must be able to work with all functional groups.-Strong attention to detail and accurate to the patient-Strong organization abilities and problem-solving skills-Proficiency with Microsoft Office-Strong analytical and organizational skillsExperience:Fresher/ 1-2 years working experience in the related field.Please send your full application including application letter, CV, copies of relevant diplomas, certificates, registrations and licenses.Please send your application via email to hr@sightoptics.ltdand copy to director@sightoptics.ltdOnly full applications will be considered.
