Organic System Specialist
INDUSTRY: AGRIBUSINESS
LOCATION: Upcountry, Tanzania
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for an Organic System Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that products, company's and agricultural operations meet organic standards as set by government regulations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate applications and documents to ensure compliance with organic standards
Provide technical assistance to clients regarding organic standards and certification process
Review organic system plans and provide technical assistance to organic operators
Conduct on-site inspections of farms, processing facilities, and retailers, verifying that organic procedures are being followed
Prepare detailed inspection reports that document compliance or non-compliance
Provide technical assistance to clients regarding organic standards and certification process
Stay updated on changes in organic regulations and standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or any other related field
3+ years of proven working experience as Organic System Specialist
Thorough understanding of organic production systems
