The Aga Khan Health Services, Tanzania (An Agency of the Aga Khan Development Network) is committed to providing quality care to its patients and promoting medical education.We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified experienced personnel for the following position:Paediatrician – BN IS OKey Responsibilities:To provide high standard patient care in all children under the Department of PaediatricsTo provide care to children in the ambulatory care facility during specified times based on the Paediatrics Department rota.To provide OP, IPD and Emergency calls within the Department during the regular working and the on-call hoursTo participate in the on-call coverage of Paediatrics in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Department of PaediatricsTo participate in continuing medical Education, Mortality Review meetings and other clinical activitiesTo actively  participate in the Quality improvement program of the HospitalTo provide close supervision of the clinical performance of the PGME residents, RMOs and internsTo serve in divisional, departmental and organizational committees as appointed by the Head of Department of PaediatricsTo participate in scientific research, contribute to the Department of Paediatrics and the organization and to familiarize themselves and comply with policiesTo perform other relevant duties and charges as directed by the Medical Director and the Head of the Department of PaediatricsTo comply with all the professional and ethical standards and express adherence to the Medical Staff Bylaws of the organizationTo show the expected respect, at all times, to all patients, their families, colleagues, subordinates and all other members of the healthcare teamTo provide academic teaching and clinical teaching to medical studentsQualifications, Skills, Knowledge and experience:Graduation from a medical school recognized by the TCUSuccessful completion of a structured accredited Residency Training/Masters program in pediatricsFellowship/subspecialty training in any field of Paediatrics will be added advantageCertification by a recognized Licensing boardTotal experience (training and post-training) should be equal to, or more than  yearsA minimum of one (1) Year experience in Paediatrics after certificationProductivity in Medical Research will be an advantagePublications in peer-reviewed journals are desirableSend application letter with detailed curriculum vitae & certified testimonials;By email(preferred): hr@akhst.orgOr Delivered: Aga Khan Hospital, Human  resources DepartmentP.O.
