Job SummaryThe principal part of the job is to be part of the team responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate Accounting functions.Duties: -Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.Updates payroll records by entering all the necessary information including any changes in into system for example bank loans/salary advance deductions.Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee pension contributions, PAYEResolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.To ensure that the employees payroll files are up to date and accurateProvides payroll information by answering questions and requests to staffMaintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededSkills & Experience:Computer literate is a must ( Ms Word, Excell, AccessKnowledge of accounting packages will be an added advantageDegree /Advance Diploma in Accountancy/IT or any related subjectExperience in Accounting related tasksAn eye for details and to be able to work under minimum supervision and under a lot of pressure during month end period.Detailed terms of reference will be given to the successful candidate.Candidates who meet the above qualifications and experience should send their applications including detailed curriculum vitae to tzhr@kksecurity.com.
