Job Description
Take shorthand notes, type, tabulate, format, correct spelling and grammar and produce printed documents.
Arrange appointments and meetings; attend official visitors and employees visiting respective offices.
Handle mail, telephone messages, faxes, file or send them to the relevant destination.
File and store documents.
Scan documents in Memo Automation System as appropriate.
Prepare reports, memos, letters and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
Make travel arrangements and initiate applicable payments.
Operate a range of office equipment such as computer, photocopier, fax.
Handle requisitions of stationery, machinery and equipment.
Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.

Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Holder of Ordinary Diploma in Secretarial studies or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least an Upper Second Class.
Certificate of secondary education examination with passes in English and Kiswahili.
Must have shorthand, hatimkato, 100wpm, as well as typing speed 50 wpm.
Candidate must have three years of relevant post-qualification working experience.
