GPI Tanzania
Good People International Tanzania has been conducting regional development projects in the Kati district in Zanzibar since 2020. GPIT built the Kidimni Primary Health Care Unit(PHCU) and handed it over to the government in 2021. It contributes to improving the health environment in the community through operational support of the PHCU and health hygiene education programs. In addition, GPIT has provided baking skills training to help disabled and underprivileged young people become self-reliant and is carrying out activities to establish kindergartens in the Kidimni, support quality basic education, and support learning environments and children’s nutrition.
Project
‘Project for the Community-Based Child Nutrition Improvement in Kati district, Tanzania’ is a project supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), a government agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of official development assistance in Korea, and Good People International, a Korean international relief and development NGO. The project supports 27 PHCUs, 22 public pre-schools, and 23 villages in Kati County, Zanzibar, to improve community-based nutrition for children under five. As a result of the project, the goal is to improve children’s disease management and nutritional status at home and in pre-schools, strengthen the services of local health facilities, and encourage the community to practice healthy behavior.

Documentation and report writing
Data collection and management for project performance management
Meeting and communicating with project stakeholders and local residents
Salary Range: Negotiable, Based on experience
Job Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania

Qualifications
Must be a resident of Zanzibar and have good knowledge of Zanzibar
More than 2 years of experience working in NGOs, especially based on Korean or government projects preferred
Ability to write English documents and communicate in English
Proficient computer skills
Commitment to Good People International’s mission and values
High levels of self-motivation and initiative
