Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January, 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated in improving people’s lives. Currently, the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;
POSITION TITLE: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (1 POST)Entry Qualifications
The holder of Bachelor Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Journalism /Mass Communication or any other related eld from a recognized institution.
Duties & Responsibilitiesi. To assist in the route public relation activities such as the complying features for theCooperation Newsletter, carrying out of photographic assignment and handling ofadvertisement.ii. To report public criticisms and complains to one’s superiorsiii. To assist in the liaising with mass media on press mattersIv. To assist in organizing o cial functions, tours and protocolvi. To carry out other duties related to his/her eld as may be assigned by immediatesupervisor.
REMUNERATION:The above post carries competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salarystructure and incentive package.
DUTY STATIONThe successful candidate will be stationed at Tanzania Posts Corporation Headquarters.
