This project is funded by PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).IntraHealth International Tanzania office is soliciting applications from suitable candidate to fill in the Receptionist Position for IntraHealth Tohara Plus Project. The position will be based in Mwanza.OVERALL PURPOSEThe Receptionist provides project support and administrative functions to the CDC funded Tanzania Tohara Plus project. The incumbent of this position wiH work under the overall supervision of the Administrative and Operations Officer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide secretarial and administrative support for the Tanzania Tohara Plus projectReceive visitors and channel them to the appropriate officer(s)Receiving deliveries, couriers, incoming faxes and arranging distribution to recipients.Monitor and maintain records of incoming/outgoing calls and faxesDevelop and maintain a proper filing and record management systemDevelop and maintain an updated database of contacts with MOH, NACP, USG, Partner agencies, NGOs, CBOs and others related to project implementationAssist with the preparation of workshops, conferences, and seminars related to the projectProvide appropriate support to missions, consultants, and project related visitsManages office supplies and keeps update records of office stationery and other supplies.In collaboration with Administrative and Operations Officer assist in maintaining an updated inventory of office assets and conduct physical inventory check yearly.Maintaining the filing system in collaboration with the Administrative and Operations Officer.In collaboration with Administrative and Operations Officer ensures all statutory deductions are submitted to the relevant authority timely.Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisorEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSDiploma or Advance Diploma in Business Administration or equivalentAt least 1 years’ experience in administrative, secretarial, receptionist or clerical support.Demonstrated excellent personal integrity and confidentialityPrevious experience working with CDC funded project or INGO will be an added advantageousExcellent interpersonal communication skills,Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environmentDemonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office applications (Word. Excel. PowerPoint. Access.
