The Receptionist shall typically be stationed at the front desk, serving as the first focal point of contact for incoming patients. Patients and visitors all expect to be greeted with a warm welcome smile and assisted by a receptionist with a genuine and sincere interest in helping with whatever they need.

Computer literacy
Minimum of form six level, Diploma
Customer Service knowledge
Able to speak and write English language
Working experience in a hospital shall be considered an added advantage
Personal Attributes
Ability to work under working pressure environment
Able to work day and night shifts including weekends and public holidays
Team work player
Main Duties
Greet and Assist Patients/Visitors and portray a positive Hospital image
Issuing of medical forms for cash and health insurance patients
Receiving, keeping and returning patients' medical cards
Ensure each Patient is registered into the Hospital management system including emergency patients.
Provide the required paperwork to patients or accompanying friends or family to be completed for registration as per each insurance protocol.
In coordination with the OPD Nurse, assist emergency patients for urgent attention including paperworks.
Direct patients to the required triage clinics or cashier office.
Properly schedule appointments for various visiting specialists and provide courtesy calls to patients to remind them of an upcoming appointment.
In charge of answering phones and assisting callers with any information they need.
Maintain an organized environment, office organization to maximize patient flow to avoid long queues or crowded waiting OPD area.
