Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
Provide safety and security training to employees, ensuring compliance with OSHA Municipal, and state regulations
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and regulations
Collaborate with management to develop safety policies and procedures
Maintain records of safety-related incidents and training sessions
Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety and security role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is an advantage
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and training skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bold and tough in the execution of duties, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
