Seed Production Research Agronomist

LOCATION: Arusha
HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are looking for a qualified and proactive Seed Production Research Agronomist who will be responsible for supporting and enhancing hybrid seed production through applied agronomic research, technical support, and data-driven improvement of production practices.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and improve current seed production practices to maximise yield and quality.
Benchmark yield and quality performance across industry.
Design, execute, and manage field trials and pilot studies.
Generate, document, and communicate research findings.
Support production teams in technical troubleshooting and training.
Lead data collection and analysis for field and processing performance.
Guide production planning (G x E, planting dates, optimum splits, row ratios, plant population, etc.).
Engage stakeholders on evolving production and regulatory practices.
Contribute to ISO and safety compliance in all activities.
Support producibility assessments for new hybrid launches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy or related field.
3+ years' experience in the hybrid seed industry.
Valid Seed Inspector’s and Driver’s License.
Skilled in experimental design, data analysis, and MS Office.
Knowledge of ISO/Quality Management Systems.
Strong communication and leadership through influence.
