SENIOR ACCOUNTANTINDUSTRY: HOSPITALITYOn behalf of our reputable client HR World Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Manage, the day-to-day operations and month/year-end close processes.
Play a pivotal role in establishing financial processes and procedures from the ground up.
Support financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Manage and reconcile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, statutory financial statements and budgets to aid decision-making.
Oversee cash flow analysis, liquidity management, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and make strategic recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA qualification (alternative considered on final stages).
At least 5 Years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
Proven experience in treasury management, including cash forecasting.
Background from an accounting company is strongly preferred but not a must.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and experience with implementation.
