SENIOR CREDIT MANAGERINDUSTRY: BANKINGHR World Ltd on behalf of our client we are looking for a senior credit manager to provide credit support to the Business functions at the bank covering extension of credit to various customer types
RESPONSIBILITIES;

•Preparation of comprehensive and accurate CAs in line with the approved credit risk appetite and ensure timely submission to MCC/ GCMC/ BCC for review and/ or approval.
•Financial analysis of customers using credit skills – ratio analysis; evaluation of security and collateral; evaluation of applicants’ business models; and judgment of management and strategy.
•Evaluation and understanding of risk associated with individual transactions, products, borrowers, and counterparties.
•Raise and obtain necessary deferral/waiver approvals from designated credit risk approvers/senior management.
•Monitor risk triggers/ breaches, covenants and other credit conditions and ad hoc creditreports appropriately – preparing reports, escalation, and recommend proactive mitigations to HoC/ MCC as per policy
•Ensure minimum CA/credit review over dues and work to minimize extensions.
•Conducting annual credit review of assigned accounts and ensuring that respective CA/proposals are processed and successfully approved on schedule.
•As part of the annual credit review, identify client limits that are not utilized or underutilized and escalate to management to initiate discussions with the relationship management team and customers.
•As part of the annual credit review process, check for any gaps in credit documentation and escalate to RM team.

QUALIFICATIONS;

•University degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or BusinessAdministration.
•Professional: CPA (T), ACCA, CFA etc.
•Minimum of five years’ experience in the Corporate Credit Analysisarea. Approval experience will be an added advantage.
