SENIOR MANAGER - COMPLIANCEINDUSTRY – BANKINGHR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Senior Manager Compliance who will be responsible for ensuring regulatory requirements, policies & procedures and laws of the country are compiled.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Develop annual compliance workplan that reflects organization culture
Defining necessary level of knowledge on regulatory compliance requirements
Providing support, education and training staff to build procedure awareness
Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations whilst taking a commercial and practical approach to risk-based challenges and offer appropriate solutions.
Develop, lead, and motivate the Compliance team to maximize effectiveness.
Independently investigating and acting on matters relating to compliance
Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
Consult with Head of legal services as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues.
Prepare management reports including board reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Investment, Economics, or any related field.
A Postgraduate Degree and/or qualification such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) or professional risk qualifications will be an added advantage
Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in progressive positions in risk and or compliance management role
