Job Purpose
The role holder will provide advice and guidance on sourcing strategies demonstrating a good understanding of the banking industry, current and developing market trend and is responsible for the development of the recruitment team as well as developing and refining processes, policy and procedures, increasing the overall value added by the team members.
 Responsibilities

To Develop and oversee the implementation of talent acquisition strategy to ensure staffing needs are met to ensure a successful search of talents in a given timeframe.
Build and manage a market research service for prospective new clients
Ensure each recruitment assignment is delivered to budget and to Client expectation
To consult with hiring managers on staffing and talent acquisition polices.
Carry out research to benchmark and identify best practice within resourcing and recruitment within the banking field.
Work with senior leaders and HRBPs of a portfolio of a business unit to understand key resource requirements to ensure the development of resourcing strategies that meet both current and future organizational needs.
Manage recruitment plans, campaigns and activity within agreed deadlines
Provide the team of talent acquisition specialist with guidance on employee resourcing strategies to provide innovative, cost effective and timely solutions
Manage recruitment processes, ensure that all recruitment activity is in line with the recruitment policy
Monitor and advise on positions and provide monthly headcount report to the line manager, in order to ensure SLA compliance.
Review the annual NMB corporate recruitment plan to a portfolio of a business unit including budget, in consultation with Head of COE and/or HoDs.
Mitigate the authenticated claims for recruitment and approve actions within specified limits
Manage relationships with higher learning institutions for potential staff supply
Produce monthly reports for Head of COE as necessary with regards to KPI’s.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Management, Psychology, HR
Masters’ degree in the related field /HR Certification will be an added advantage.
5+ years’ working experience in HR department preferably managing a recruitment function.
