HR World on behalf of our client in the banking industry is looking for a Senior Manager – Talent Management who will lead the talent function by designing and implementing strategies that attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent. The ideal candidate will drive organization-wide talent initiatives including acquisition, onboarding, development, succession planning, and performance management while fostering a culture of inclusion, growth, and excellence.
Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
Develop and execute employer branding strategies to position the organization as an employer of choice.
Implement structured onboarding programs to align new hires with the company’s values and expectations.
Design and manage employee development programs, training calendars, and leadership development frameworks.
Support line managers in identifying employee strengths and development areas to foster continuous growth.
Drive the Learning & Development strategy and oversee execution through a Learning Academy model.
Develop and implement career development and talent retention plans, including coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Monitor talent metrics and provide insights through reports and dashboards to support strategic HR decisions.
Promote diversity and inclusion in all talent-related initiatives.
Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure alignment of talent management strategies with business goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
At least 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian labor market, particularly within the banking or financial services sector.
Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and HR strategy execution.
Excellent communication, planning, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
A high level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
