Mapinga Premium Foods is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Officer to join our team in Mapinga, Bagamoyo.
THE ROLE
The Senior Quality Officer will be responsible for:
Quality control and Laboratory activity
Food Safety and Quality Systems
Product Traceability
Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Reporting and Team Collaboration
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of quality control or food safety experience in food manufacturing.
Practical experience implementing and enforcing ISO 22000 or ISO 9001; HACCP knowledge is essential.
Good understanding of GMP, GHP, product traceability, and laboratory testing.
Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and 5S; Lean and continuous improvement knowledge is an added advantage.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
