FABEC Investment Limited is the Sub Contractor for WASCO ISOAF TZ LTD in the EAST AFRICA CRUDE OIL Project (EACOP) contracted to build the coating plant in EACOP coating yard in Tabora region Nzega district, Igusule ward. The company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the following positions:
SITE ENGINEER: (1 position)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing all Site construction projects
Overseeing site building work
Undertaking surveys
Setting out sites
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Supervising contracted staff
Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially Quantity Surveyors and the overall Project Manager
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from any recognized Higher Learning Institution:
Graduate registered as Professional Engineer
Proven working experience in civil Engineering minimum 3 years.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
Project management and supervision skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Project experience as added advantage.
Attention to detail.
