ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Business Specialist for an upcoming Service Learning Corps Assignment in Tanzania. ACDI/VOCA’s NAFAKA project requests volunteer assistance to carry out a cost-benefit analysis to measure the impact of mechanization grants using appropriate methodology. The volunteer will identify and develop empirical and conceptual models that can be used to determine the impact, and will develop and implement a survey template based on the methodologies selected. This assignment will last for 8-12 weeks.Provisions for the Volunteer: All international and local travel, Lodging and Meals, Business Visa, Emergency EVacuation Insurance, In-country support from field office staff, Local cell phone to use during assignmentQualifications:Graduate/Ph.D. student or recent graduate in Business or other related programs.Expertise (work or educational experience) in business, monitoring and evaluation or assessments Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPointThe volunteer should be prepared to live in rural communities.Previous experience working in Africa is preferred but not required.
