The position holder is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to company’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing site that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Work location is in one of our Tanzania offices (Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar or Arusha).

Responsibilities
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Help define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience
Solve issues within various sites and prioritizing based on customer impact and organizational objectives
Identify opportunities for improvements to existing applications and workflows
Competencies
Create innovative products or designs to produce a range of solutions to problems
Identify business opportunities for the organization
Make presentations and undertake public speaking with skill and confidence
Respond quickly to the needs of an audience and to their reactions and feedback
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Development experience with programming languages (JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, Web User Interface Design (UI), API's)
At least 2 years proven working experience in web programming
SQL database or relational database skills
