Position Title: Specific Task – Closeout Activities (2 Positions)
Reports to: Technical Officer HTS
Employment Type: Temporary – Full time
Job Location: Mwanza and Dar es Salaam
Travel: Up to 60% in intervention districts outside of job location.
Overall Job Functions:
Conduct advanced field visits to set appointments with peers, HCWs and RHMTs during development of success stories on PrEP, DREAMS and HIVST in Mwanza and Dar region under the support of ICAP team
Translate success stories shared by HCWs, FIKIA peers and R/CHMTs from Swahili to English language
Support peers, HCWs, R/CHMTs during rehearsals of talking points before video recording to ensures the message is clearly communicated as per FIKIA SOP
Work with ICAP team to finalize FIKIA reports for dissemination activities
Work with ICAP admin team to pull records of all photos and consent forms for incorporating into developed success stories and ICAP final reports
Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
Required competencies and qualifications:
Education: Required: Bachelor’s in development/Sociology/Community/Development/Medical or higher from a recognized academic institution
Required Technical Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience working in HIV key and vulnerable population (KVP) programs
• Required: Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation skills. Fluent in both Kiswahili and English. Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint at minimum). Flexible to work after normal working hours and weekends at various community locations. Ability to interact well with all targeted groups and peer volunteers by facilitating a non judgmental, non-discriminatory, and non-stigmatizing environment in the program, to welcome all beneficiaries regardless of their background
