Overall Purpose
To support Alistair Logistics operations such that objectives are met at the required work performance standard and in accordance with company behaviours and values
Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas
Preparing and maintaining records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued.
Determining proper storage methods based on physical capabilities of the warehouse.
Observing and adhering to safety policies, reporting unsafe acts, hazards, and maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Timely and efficiently processing and filling parts requisition forms presented by in-house service techs, entering parts information on customer work orders associated with the parts requisition through the SAP ERP system.
Entering parts received into inventory using the SAP ERP computer system and continually monitoring inventory stock for re-order, etc.
Generating labelling for merchandise and shelve inventory in proper place in stock room.
Receiving, storing, and issuing spare and replacement parts, equipment, and expendable items used in repair or maintenance shop and verifying against purchase orders for accuracy.
Formal Training/Education
Trade qualification is desirable but not essential + Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
Computer Literate + Experience in general warehousing procedures
High level of attention to detail
Knowledge/Skills & Experience
Experience in general warehousing procedures
Excellent interpersonal relations
Good verbal, written and listening communications skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to achieve excellent results working autonomously and/or in a team environment
Excellent organisational skills
Possess a “can-do“ attitude with a keen focus on what “can” be done, not what “cannot” be done
Possess a desire to continually develop, improve and be ambitious
Be physically fit and able to use the correct lifting technique
