STORES SUPERVISORINDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTIONLOCATION: PWANIHR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Stores Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of HDPE materials and finished products within the company's storage facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Maintaining records, coordinating with procurement and production teams, and ensuring the availability of raw materials and finished goods as per production requirements.
Oversees receipt and verification of incoming shipments; ensures materials are unloaded, stored, and verified according to policy.
Ensures that an accurate inventory record of finished goods is maintained in accordance with established procedures.
Ensures orderly storage of incoming shipments and finished goods; maintains detailed records of available products and their storage locations.
Conducts regular inventory checks, random checks on at least a weekly basis, and thorough checks on at least a monthly basis.
Communicates results of inventory reviews to manager; collaborates with manager to schedule future shipments.
Delegates fulfillment of customer orders to staff; maintains inventory database when orders are fulfilled.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in stores or inventory management for a minimum of 5 years, preferably in plastics or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of HDPE materials and their handling requirements.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
