Structural/Civil Engineer – Viva Fiberglass Tanzania
Viva Fiberglass Tanzania Company is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Structural Engineer who can also support the sales and marketing of our fiberglass reinforcement products. If you’re an engineer with both technical expertise and strong client-facing abilities, this role is for you.
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Position: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Duties
Design, review, and certify structural elements using fiberglass reinforcement material.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Provide engineering guidance to clients, contractors, and project partners
Conduct site visits to ensure proper installation and compliance
Work closely with production teams to support product improvement and innovation
Sales & Marketing Duties
Promote Viva Fiberglass products to contractors, engineers, architects, and developers
Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and client training sessions
Prepare marketing materials and support campaigns targeting the construction sector
Identify new business opportunities and assist in developing market penetration strategies
Provide after-sales technical support and maintain long-term client relationships
Gather feedback from the market to help shape product development and sales strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering
Registered or eligible for registration with ERB (Engineering Registration Board)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in structural or civil engineering
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete design
Experience with fiberglass/GFRP materials is an advantage
Good communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills
Experience in sales or technical marketing is a strong plus
