SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGERINDUSTRY: OIL AND GASHR World limited on behalf our client we are looking for a Supply and Distribution Manager who will be accountable for the product acquisition and distribution activities, road transport operations, coordination of depots operations, engineering projects and asset integrity activities, and manages all HSSE aspects of these activities that input in to the marketing of fuels, and lubricants in Tanzania.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Ensure that all Supply and Distribution (SD) and engineering activities in Tanzania are carried out inaccordance with Group standards and guidelines.
Manage the Road transport activity for the country in line with the VE Road Transport policy and the VE group
Coordinate the supply of product with the Petroleum Bulk Procurement Agency to ensure competitive product is available at all times.
Fulfill all service level agreements with Cob (Retail, Fuels and Global Lubricants) in order to maintain anddevelop the customer base.
Manage the Opex in SD in order to optimize unit cost per volume delivered.
Manage stock levels of all products to optimize working capital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Engineering
Sound knowledge of Depot Operations, Supplies Logistics preferably with no less than 10 years’ experience in the Oil industry.
Sound people management skills and influencing staff to deliver (support, coaching etc.)
Demonstrable Knowledge in management of RT Operations
Sound knowledge of HSSE issues and practices.
A demonstrated ability in managing change and relationship with people especially Government body & JV
