Sustainability ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Manager to implement, monitor, and evaluate the Bank’s sustainability strategy and programs in line with the KCBT Green Agenda.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement, monitor, and evaluate the Bank’s sustainability strategy and programs in line with the KCBT Green Agenda.Coordinate the roll out of sustainable policies and practices across departments, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Train staff and integrate the Social and Environmental Management System (SEMS) into business processes.Design and implement awareness programs for employees and other stakeholders through physical and e-learning platforms.Coordinate and support internal business stakeholders in executing sustainability initiatives.Develop and apply tools to assess, evaluate and monitor the viability or success of sustainability initiatives and programs.Conduct research on emerging environmental sustainability issues, concerns, or stakeholder interests and advise the business appropriately.Prepare communication plans and materials for the Bank’s sustainability initiatives and strategies in line with international best practices to various key Bank stakeholders, including campaigns etc.Manage sustainability reporting and maintain related data and knowledge systems.Implement and manage the bank’s sustainability database and knowledge management.Review sustainability program objectives, progress, or status to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations, or laws.Identify partnerships and green pilot projects that enhance the bank’s sustainability positioning.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:Organise, coordinate training and sustainability capacity building to various business and non-business teams.Support implementation of all sustainability initiatives by the bank which includes relevant data collection, review and communication to the appropriate persons.Monitor, assess, and report on sustainability initiatives.Facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagements on all matters relating to sustainability, for instance, establishing and coordinating the activities of the sustainability working group.Conduct sustainability- or environment-related risk assessments and reports as per stakeholders’ requests.MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTAcademic & Professional ParticularsDetail Specific Field or Qualification Need Type Education Bachelor’s degree in Any Arts, Social Sciences or Environmental studies or any related fields RQ = Required Professional Qualifications Sustainability Training & Environmental and Social Risk Training AA = Added Advantage Master’s degree in Any Arts or Social Sciences AA = Added Advantage Experience Total Minimum No of Years Experience Required: 4Need Types are: RQ = Required, AA = Added AdvantageJob InfoJob Category: ManagementDegree Level: Bachelor's DegreeJob Schedule: Full timeLocations: Tanzania
