Team Leader / Water and Sanitation Specialist


Education

Master’s Degree in Civil / Water and Sanitation Engineering
Registered by a recognized institution as professional in field of specialization



Experience

1o years’ experience in program and/or project management of water and sanitation projects.
Team Leader of at least three projects or development programs with financing institutions.
Specific experience of 5 years’ involvement in the water and sanitation projects including water resource management programs.
Familiarity with operating procedures of WB and/or other DPs will be an added advantage.
Experience with DBO contracts will be an added advantage.

Ability to work and communicate in an international environment and in communities of diverse cultures
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team and run projects achieve the set goals
Skills in capacity building and transferring skills to local partners at national and local levels
Excellent computer and conversant with Microsoft Office packages
Excellent report writing skills

Language: Fluency in both spoken and written Swahili and English
Duty station: Dodoma / Dar es Salaam
Duration: 36 months on fulltime basis
