TECHNICAL OFFICERINDUSTRY: AGROCHEMICALSLOCATION: MTWARA AND LINDIHR WORLD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Technical Officer who will provide clients with advice and support by translating and explaining highly complex technical information, focusing on how best to use the products or services provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Explore new areas and suggest new marketplaces to introduce and establish the company's products.
Drive and consolidate quality agrochemical demonstration results in data conducted by the sales agronomist.
Package company's product demonstration results in powerful agronomic marketing tools to support sales.
Develop product treatments and application protocols.
Conduct commercial and scalable scientific agricultural chemical trials with local and regional agricultural research organizations to establish new information on the effectiveness of our products.
Conduct farmer's training and Product Launching sessions.
Prepare and follow up on seeds’ demonstration plots.
Achieve targets in the distribution of new products to all existing customers
*QUALIFICATIONS*
Diploma / Degree in Agriculture engineering, Agronomy, horticulture or any other related field.
Proven at least 2 years of experience in Agricultural Sales and Marketing.
Basic Computer Skills.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain strategic business relationships.
Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work and Public Holidays when required.
Experience in Lindi and Mtwara Region.
