POSITION: Technical Sales Executive
INDUSTRY: Construction Material Supplier
REPORTS TO: Manager
JOB LOCATION: Dar es Salaam
JOB PURPOSE
The role of a technical sales executive will be to promote and sell company products by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of the product as well as its uses and benefits.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE
Sales and marketing is a MUST.
Technical competence in civil engineering, together with good understanding of engineering principles.
Strong report writing skills.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent customer service skills.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years of sales experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the importance of and execution of sales strategy.
Explaining complex technical information to customers in an easily understandable way.
Keeping customers informed about new technological products.
Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Networking
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Kiswahili
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
