Position: Technician Instrumentation
Department: DISTILLERY
Office Location: Moshi, Kilimanjaro
Reporting To: Technical Manager

Job Summary Statement
Re-advertised: Faults finding and Rectification, Instruments installation in the Distillery and other locations, Module identification and Address Reading as well as Calibration of Instruments required.
Key Performance Areas (Duties & Responsibilities)
To inspect all instruments in the Distillery to make sure production is going well.
Installing new equipment in the Distillery.
To run the cables for instrument controlling.
Servicing different instruments in the Distillery and other departments.
Troubleshooting and faults finding from field instruments up to PLC card connections.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by his or her superiors.
Academic Qualifications
Formal Secondary Education and a holder of Certificate level III in Automation/Electronics or Ordinary Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications with Industrial Automation.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of working experience as Technician Instrumentation in an industrial field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Independently install, test, calibrate and repair instruments.
Work on control loops, PLCs, DCS, Pneumatic/Electronic systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills (i.e., English and Swahili).
Ability to work safely and effectively in a team and independently.
Outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
Behavioural Competencies
Being reliable and possess a good work ethic.
Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
