Tracking Officer
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Tracking Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the real-time tracking of fleet vehicles to ensure timely deliveries, operational efficiency, and data accuracy across logistics operations.
Responsibilities

Monitor the real-time movement of all company vehicles using GPS tracking systems.
Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly tracking reports.
Ensure drivers adhere to planned routes and delivery schedules.
Communicate with drivers to provide support and updates on route changes.
Report any unauthorized stops, deviations, or unusual activity.
Assist in route optimization to reduce fuel consumption and delivery delays.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, travel history, and downtime.
Collaborate with fleet and operations teams to ensure timely vehicle dispatch.
Monitor and analyze fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle performance.
Assist in coordinating response for vehicle breakdowns or emergency situations.
Ensure all tracking data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
Contribute to fleet audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Train new staff on tracking systems and related protocols.
Recommend improvements to enhance fleet tracking efficiency.
Work in shifts including weekends to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in fleet tracking or logistics coordination.
Proficiency in GPS tracking platforms and fleet management tools.
Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Excel.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and during non-standard hours.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Knowledge of road and transport regulations is an added advantage.
